Claude Code for Data Analysis

12 May 2026

Are you using Claude Code (or thinking about it) for quantitative analysis in R or Stata? Come join us for a working session to share experiences, tips, and practical strategies.

This is not an introductory workshop or a lecture. We're a group of researchers working with the Generations and Gender Survey (GGS), but users of other datasets are very welcome too. Most of what we'll discuss applies to quantitative work in general, so there should be something useful for everyone. The session is aimed at people already using Claude Code, or just getting started and wanting to use it more seriously in their work. Bring along a problem you're working on and we'll advise each other and share what works. Newcomers are also very welcome, and it can be a nice chance to see what the tool can do in practice.

No registration required. If there's a specific problem you'd like to discuss, feel free to email it to the presenter in advance. The workshop will be conducted in English or in Slovak/Czech, depending on the participants.

18. 5. 2026 13:00–14:30, FSS MU, room 3.70

Presenter: Thomas Philip Heyes, Department of Sociology, 553131@mail.muni.cz
