Contraceptive behavior of women in Czechia
A new leaflet with the results of the “Contemporary Czech Family” study focuses on the contraceptive behavior of women in Czechia. The analysis shows how this behavior changed between 2008 and 2022.
A significant decrease in short-term and long-term fertility plans occurred among young people aged 18-39 between 2020 and 2022, when the data collection of the first wave of the "Contemporary Czech Family" (Czech GGS-II) took place. In 2022, respondents indicated that they wanted to have a child in the next three years and in the more distant future less often than in 2020.
