Two PhD positions at FSS MU
The Department of Sociology (FSS MU, Brno) will hire two PhD students for employment (and/or contract) on ongoing projects.
In the Czech Republic, women still take on most of the domestic responsibilities, despite being active on the labor market to a comparable extent as men (with the exception of periods of intensive care for the youngest children). In an intact family, the woman always or usually washes the clothes, prepares the food, and in more than half of the families, she is usually the one who does the vacuums. Men are traditionally responsible for minor repairs, while both partners are equally involved in the organization of free time and often in the management of finances.
