As the Internet and digital technologies become more accessible, the number of areas of life that these technologies affect also increases. One of these areas is relationships, dating and dating. The following analysis focuses on online dating among Czech respondents from the second round of the Generations and Gender Survey (also called the "Contemporary Czech Family" project).

A significant decrease in short-term and long-term fertility plans occurred among young people aged 18-39 between 2020 and 2022, when the data collection of the first wave of the "Contemporary Czech Family" (Czech GGS-II) took place. In 2022, respondents indicated that they wanted to have a child in the next three years and in the more distant future less often than in 2020.
