Two PhD positions at FSS MU
The Department of Sociology (FSS MU, Brno) will hire two PhD students for employment (and/or contract) on ongoing projects.
The article Fatherhood in a Changing Society: Shifts in Male Fertility Patterns by Renata Kyzlinková and Anna Šťastná presents the factors influencing the transition to fatherhood among Czech men. The analysis revealed that the transition to fatherhood is positively influenced by co-residence partnerships (especially marriage), by having completed a tertiary-level education and by living independently. The Czech Generations and Gender Survey data are used in the article.
