Czech women's reproductive plans
A new analysis shows that long-term reproductive plans are already made at the start of adulthood; short-term plans a little later!
What factors influenced the reproductive plans during the Covid-19 pandemic? Jana Paloncyová's new paper based on data from the Contemporary Czech Family project addresses this issue.
The analysis showed that the pandemic itself has not yet influenced the reproductive plans of the respondents significantly. The current number of children and the value orientation of the respondents had the biggest effect on whether they planned to have a child in the near future. It was also found that the characteristics of women (age and education) have a more significant effect on reproductive plans than men.
