Contraceptive behavior of women in Czechia
A new leaflet with the results of the “Contemporary Czech Family” study focuses on the contraceptive behavior of women in Czechia. The analysis shows how this behavior changed between 2008 and 2022.
A new article by Marcela Trávníčková and Martin Kreidl in the Czech Sociological Review focuses on the stability of co-residential partnerships after the birth of the first child.
Using Czech retrospective data from the GGS survey, the study analyzes couples' break-ups after first birth. It also studies whether unmarried and married couples differ in their stability, and whether the stability depends on the order of the events (wedding, birth of a child). The authors found that unmarried couples are less stable than married couples. Find the whole paper here (in Czech language): http://dx.doi.org/10.13060/csr.2023.001
