Czech women's reproductive plans
A new analysis shows that long-term reproductive plans are already made at the start of adulthood; short-term plans a little later!
In their latest article published in the European Sociological Review, Martin Kreidl and Zuzana Žilinčíková analyzed the effect of cohabitation on people’s attitudes towards family dissolution using Generations and Gender Survey data from nine European countries.
In 2020, the Czech GGP team published several articles using international Generations and Gender Survey data. In the article published in the Journal of Biosocial Science, Jiřina Kocourková and Anna Šťastná examined the realization of fertility intentions in the context of childbearing postponement in two countries – the Czech Republic and France.
Zuzana Žilinčíková, in a paper published in the Journal of Family Issues, analyzed the differences in the living arrangements of children after cohabitation and marital dissolution in nine European countries.
Using the Czech Generations and Gender Survey data, Jitka Slabá examined the effect of personal unemployment experience on the first birth postponement. The article was published in the Sociológia - Slovak Sociological Review.
